What is Kehillah High?
Kehillah High is an innovative educational program for Jewish students in grades 8-12. At Kehillah High, students enrich their Jewish identities through substantive Jewish learning, communal engagement and connection to Israel. Kehillah High's goal is for our teens to become inspired and engaged lifelong learners, committed to living a Jewish life guided by Jewish values and traditions as expressed in our diverse and pluralistic Jewish world.
Kehillah High is a multi-denominational partnership that includes Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Beth Yeshurun, and Congregation Brith Shalom. Enrollment is also available to any Jewish teen whose affiliated synagogue does not have a formal teen educational program, and to any teen whose family is not affiliated with a synagogue.

Why come to Kehillah High?
Kehillah High allows teens to grow their Jewish identity while at the same time strengthening their critical thinking skills, providing leadership opportunities, and engaging in meaningful Jewish learning. Teens socialize and learn together through Kehillah High's pluralistic community program.
Who will be at Kehillah High?
8-12th grade teens from many backgrounds.

When is Kehillah High?
Kehillah High Kickoff: September 18 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. (Held at Congregation Beth Israel, 5600 N. Braeswood Blvd.)
Classes will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Trimester 1: September 25 through November 20 (Held at Congregation Beth Israel, 5600 N. Braeswood Blvd.)
Trimester 2: January 8 through February 12 (Held at Congregation Beth Yeshurun, 4525 Beechnut St.)
Trimester 3: February 26 through April 22 (Held at Congregation Brith Shalom, 4610 Bellaire Blvd. )
