We are excited to announce that the next Houston Teen Israel Experience for current 10th and 11th graders is June 11-July 2, 2025. It is our third trip since Kehillah High's founding in 2015, and first trip under the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston's umbrella. This trip is made possible by the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, generous donors, and participating congregations.
The Houston Teen Israel Experience is also a RootOne trip provider, an initiative seeded through a generous grant by The Marcus Foundation and powered by The Jewish Education Project that helps tens of thousands of teens travel to Israel each summer with major subsidies for trip participants. Beyond increasing the number of teens and affordability of these trips, RootOne is an investment in the unique, immersive learning these trips provide. The initiative will support new trip curricula and offer deeper pre and post-trip engagement to strengthen participants’ Jewish identities and connections to community and Israel.
