Registration is open for our 10th Grade Shabbaton in Galveston from January 27-28, 2023! This trip is open exclusively to sophomores at Kehillah High.

Trip highlights include:
  • Getting to know your class better and grow new connections
  • Spending time with your clergy and having meaningful conversations
  • Enjoying an overnight Shabbat experience in Galveston

The Kehillah High 10th Grade Shabbaton is included in the initial Kehillah High tuition so there is no extra cost to participants. In order to secure a spot, there is a $200 refundable deposit due with registration. This deposit is fully refundable before Friday, January 20. 

Checks should be made out to Jewish Federation of Greater Houston attn: Kehillah High and can be mailed to 5603 South Braeswood Blvd, Houston, Texas 77096 or brought to classes on Wednesday evenings and given to Danielle or Stephanie. The deposit will be returned following your child's successful completion of the trip. ​

Health and Safety  To maintain everyone's safety against COVID-19, we are requiring that all participants be fully vaccinated with the primary COVID vaccine series (two doses of Moderna/Pfizer or a single dose of J&J. We recommend, in accordance with the CDC, that all participants receive one (bivalent) booster if it has been at least two months since their last COVID-19 vaccine dose. We also recommend participants receive the season’s flu shot prior to the trip.  You will be asked to upload an image of your child's vaccination card to the registration form.
